Prepare and review a 3D model before handoff
Review form, scale, motion and exported files against their intended use.

Define the intended use
Presentation, animation and fabrication models have different acceptance criteria. Prepare reference images, key dimensions and review viewpoints. Define acceptance criteria before starting rather than judging one favourable view.
Inspect multiple viewpoints
Rotate the model to inspect missing faces, intersections and proportions. When using keyframes, review the start, end and transitions. Motion should explain the form rather than conceal defects.
Reopen the file in the receiving tool
Choose a format the tool actually supports. Verify scale, axis orientation and retained data after export. Printing and fabrication require additional geometry and material checks through an appropriate specialist workflow.
