Voice: from a recording to a reviewable transcript

Prepare audio, check proper names and compare important passages with the recording.

Prepare a clear, authorised recording

Use a recording you are authorised to process. Check background noise, missing segments and audio levels. Note the language, speakers and specialised terms; exclude sensitive information that is not necessary for the task.

Review the transcript against the audio

Use Voice to transcribe speech and refine the transcript. Replay proper names, dates, amounts and negative statements. Mark unclear passages rather than guessing. For multiple speakers, verify attribution before sharing.

Separate the transcript from the edited version

Keep the recording as the reference. When editing meeting notes, distinguish statements, decisions and action items. Do not turn an opinion or a discussed possibility into a speaker’s commitment.
